BOW TYPES

1. Modern Recurve Bows:  The shape at the top and bottom of the bow curve back away from the archer at each tip. giving its 're-curve' name. Currently, modern recurve bows are the only bow type allowed in the Olympics and are what most competitive archers shoot. Sign up for this course if you want to be like Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games

2. Compound bows:  Widely used in hunting and target archery, the compound bow is highly mechanical and makes use of cables, pulleys, and leverage to aid the archer. If speed and power attract you, this is the bow for you. Sign up for this course if you want to be like Rambo from Rambo: First Blood 2

3. Traditional Bows:  Traditional Archery offers two general models of bows. One being the longbow and the other being the Recurve Bow. Our Traditional courses teach the Asiatic Style Bows (Han Bows & Korean Traditional Recurve bows), with a thumb draw & release technique. Sign up for this course if you want to be like Guo Jing from Condor Heroes
